逍遥风，Xiao Yao Feng or simply XYF, is an underground band in Singapore. It's members came from various background, with only one thing in common, we like to play music together.
Officially formed since January 2009, XYF's formation does not come easy at all. It took us 1 year to get each and every piece of the puzzle together. For those who know us, and for those who don't, do listen to our songs if you feel like.

Introduction...
First of all, the so called "front man" or "vocal" or whatsoever you call it.
Kien, 20, not handsome not talented but a die hard musician wannabe. Can't sing can't dance but loves to play Guitar. Playing Er-Hu since 9 to 14, and Chinese Percussion from 15 to 17. Electric Guitar since 18 till now. Played a short period with J-rock Cover band as guitarist. One of the founding member of XYF since 2007. Adores Jay Chou very much. This is one average guy that you can see everyday in the MRT. :)
The Lead Guitarist...
Mint, 16, a secondary school student having his O level this year, wish him all the best thou. Played an important role in revitalising the band. How we met each other? Well, we're type of people that will carry our guitars all the way down to Bedok Park and play like we knew each other for 20 years already.
The Bassist...
Kelvin, 19, better known as Junjo. The bassist have an interesting affair with XYF, also having associated act with the "Paper Penguin", and ex-bassist/backup vocalist for "Vertico". One of the Founding member of the XYF since 2007. Creates bass lines for the band's originals.
The Keyboardist...
Allen, 19, also known as Cat (for his affection towards Cat). Secondary school buddy with Kelvin and Kien since 2005. A self-learn bassist as well a a pianist. Prefer jazz more than anything else. A reliable source of music-theory related stuff in the band, acting as co-composer and consultant to the "limited music theory" Kien in composing. He do it the Suzuki's way.
The Drummer...
Ja Yang, 19, aka junKie (you will know why when you pronounce his name quickly). The band was officially formed soon after he hop on to this pirate ship. The newest member of the XYF Family. Without him, XYF can never come to life again. 2 years of drumming. A very friendly guy, and he is still single. ;)
I don't believe it myself, but our formation comes like those Soap Opera in the TV, unbelievable.
We are still improvising our original and will post here as soon as we finished it.
